Wondering what that means?

It's funny how the first thing you learn in any foreign language is normally the swear words. Someone has come up with a brilliant website for all our foul mouthed friends wishing to master the ability of pissing off others.

Are you an Irishman going to the local pub to watch Ireland Vs. Pakistan in Cricket? Wanna get the shit beaten out of you? Just go to this website here and you just may reach your goal.

Her Hips Don't Lie....

Amidst chaos and hoards of people swarming towards the Dubai Autodrome on Friday to see those luscious curves was one excited Sherif. Yes the organization could have been better, but I'm not one to complain, I feel I got my money's worth!

The performance was scintillating, Shakira was exquisite and the crowd - pathetic!

She swayed and moved with such passion and energy on stage, singing all her hits which people love so much, and was met with very little enthusiasm from a 25,000 strong crowd!

There's Stupid and then there's Radio Competitions....

I really don't get those radio competitions...

I understand that someone must win ... But seriously, sometimes it is just completely insulting to the intelligence of the listener and the ones in the competition (I don't know about the presenter who's asking the questions since they chose to humour the sponsors by asking such silly questions on air)...

What are examples of some of the silliest Radio Competition Questions you've ever heard?

We have an office...Finally

As some of you may already know, some of my friends and I have recently joined the wacky world of entrepreneurs in Dubai. While it's a very competetive market and things aren't always as smooth as they could go, and if Dubai is not the city with the world's highest quality of life, it is probably one of the best places to do business in the Middle East and possibly, due to tax free locations, in the world, though you only start feeling the "Tax-free" bit when you've made it big!

Anyways, we are liscenced as a Dubai Media City - free Zone Company for Event Management. We paid our dues, including office rent for 6 months. We closed our Dubai office in order to move to media city. Mind you this was about 6 months ago. Once we received our liscence we were told there was no office ready yet, we should get it in 3 months (double that already). When we asked where to work from the answer was quite simple "From your cars, hotel lobby, anywhere with internet, we don't care" - and that is exactly what we have been doing for the last 6 months!

Now, 6 months later, we finally have an office - OUTSIDE MEDIA CITY - since our DMC premises is still under construction. So yes, we have the convenience of a space in Karama, however, we're paying for two offices at the same time....sometimes it just doesn't make sense, but let's see how it all works out in the end...

Wish us luck!
